The Incident

I was with my family enjoying a beautiful day out on the lake and decided to go tubing with my daughter.  We encountered some rough wakes that jolted the tube one direction and then another.  My daughter and I hit heads.  We were still on the tube.  The boat stopped.  I knew how bad my head hurt and was immediately worried about my daughter.  I look over and she's holding her head with a winced look.  My husband hollers back..."Are you okay? Do you want to stop or keep going?".  My daughter's wince quickly turned into a grin..."let's go!".  I'm still holding my head motioning for my husband to pull us in.  I was dazed and wobbly getting from the tube to the boat.  I sat down and rested as we continued to cruise around the lake for awhile.  Then my younger boys wanted a turn tubing and only wanted to go if I would go with them.  My head was feeling better so I thought sure, I can take another turn. Little did I know what was to come days, weeks, and months ahead.
